Sorry, I have removed all pics of Ian. I don't want to put pics on the blog until I figure out how to protect the pics. Any ideas? If I am not able to, I will discontinue the blog and create another place to share pics and information about our lives.

A New Journey.....with Ian Kristofer

Well, I was going to start a whole new blog for Ian, but decided to continue with this one since our journey with Ian really started in Germany. Life with Ian is a new mission. Even though we are home in the States this year, serving overseas is still something we are seeking. Continue to pray for us.
However, we have taken this year to transition back to the States and to begin a new journey with Ian Kristofer Lucas. He is the joy of our life now. We are blessed with a beautiful, healthy little boy. We chose the name Ian, well first because we just liked the sound of it and it was Scottish/Irish, and the fact that it means "God's Gracious One". God is gracious! Ian is also a form of the name John, which is one of my favorite books in the bible. The name just fit. Kristofer was chosen because we wanted a Germany name. Well, its origin is not German, but we took on the German spelling. We simply liked the sound of the name and how it fit with Ian. We spent months thinking of a middle name and decided finally the week Ian was born.
This blog is for family and friends to follow Ian and his life. You can also check on facebook for updates and pictures.
This blog is also a way to communicate our next steps towards missions, whether it be here in the States or overseas. Remember, all Christ believers are called to missions......to serve, love, and share Christ to others wherever you are.
